Heather LocklearHeather Locklear and Richie Sambora’s divorce was finalised on Wednesday, ending their 11 year marraige.

Heather filed for divorce from Richie in February last year but despite Richie’s sudden hooking up with Heather’s former friend, Denise Richards, the couple claim to still be “on good terms” for the sake of their 9 year old daughter Ava.

Heather is thought to have agreed to Richie’s request for joint physical and legal custody of Ava and the terms of their prenuptial agreement have been enforced.

A source close to Heather told People magazine that the star is glad the divorce is finally settled: “This has been an unbelievably difficult year for Heather. It’s a huge relief for her that this part of her life has come to a close.”
