• Lionel Richie has said today’s celebrities don’t take the idea of rehab seriously hence their frequent, heavy-publicised admittances. Lionel said recently: “I think it’s a cliche to say, ‘I’m going into rehab’ [these days]. ‘I bumped my foot today - rehab’; ‘I hit my head on something - rehab.’” Lionel’s daughter Nicole Richie spent time in rehab for drug addiction in 2003 and last year checked into a clinic to get help for not being able to gain weight.
  • Leonardo DiCaprio’s spokesperson has denied the recent rumours that Leo’s girlfriend Bar Rafaeli is pregnant with their first child together. The spokesperson told Us Weekly that the rumours are “totally b.s.” and “100 percent made up bollocks”.
  • The inquest into the death of Daniel Smith will reconvene next month after being blocked at the jury selection point last month. As last month’s case got underway, Howard K Stern asked to indefinitely postpone the hearing since it would be impossible to select an impartial jury after the publicity surrounded death of Daniel, then of his mum Anna Nicole Smith. Court officials in the Bahamas denied the “indefinite” move but have reportedly allowed Howard and his legal team to submit a questionnaire for potential jurors.
