• Lily Allen was surprised to see a fan crying at her Wednesday night gig in Irving Plaza, New York. At first Lily mocked the sobbing fan, saying: “Are you really f**king crying? Are you serious?” but then decided tears were a good thing: “You’re crying because you’re so happy to be here? This has never happened before! I want more crying fans! Everyone cry! You can be my best friend now, so long as you just follow me around and cry.”
  • Isla Fisher has added fuel to rumours that she and fiance Sacha Baron Cohen are expecting a child together by refusing to deny the story at a recent premiere of her new film The Lookout. Isla is thought to be around three months pregnant and when asked to confirm the news at a recent screeing, she simply replied: “I’m not denying it.” The baby would be the first child for both Isla and Sacha.
  • James Blunt is unlikely to be charged with driving offence after allegedly being part of a hit-and-run in February. A man initially claiming to be an autograph hunter but actually thought to be a paparazzi photographer claims James drove over his leg while leaving a pre-Oscars party with then girlfriend Petra Nemcova. James’ attorney, Steven M Cron has said the incident has been investigated but the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office has rejected the filing of any charges against Mr Blunt.” A spokesperson for the City Attorney’s Office added: “We reserve the right to file charges at any time. But at this time we have no plans to file anything.”
