Marcia CrossMarcia Cross has revealed she gave up her honeymoon for the chance to get pregnant.

The Desperate Housewives star married Tom Mahoney last June and planned to have a honeymoon in Europe but chose to stay in Los Angeles to try IVF instead.

Marcia told People magazine: “We did in vitro a week after we got married. We were supposed to go to Greece and Paris and have this fancy honeymoon, and I said, ‘Let’s stay put and see if we can’t give this baby a chance.’”

Marcia gave birth to twin girls - Savannah and Eden - in February and is delighted with motherhood: “I wanted to be a member of that club so badly, and now I’m in and it’s so much better than I even imagined.”

“I’ll tell you my routine - it’s really exciting. I feed, I burp, I change diapers, I pump. And then I have a tiny window of time to myself.”

But the 45 year old isn’t sure that she’ll have any more children: “I’m probably done but I certainly can see why people keep going. I’m in heaven right now.”
