  • Howard K Stern has filed a federal slander lawsuit against Virgie Arthur’s attorney, John O’Quinn. Howard claims O’Quinn told the media that Howard was responsible for the death of Virgie’s daughter Anna Nicole Smith. Howard’s lawyer L Lin Wood filed the documents in the District Court in West Palm Beach on Friday, saying they were pursuing the case because “the public airwaves should never be used to promote personal agendas or vendettas”. Wood is seeking unspecified damages for Howard for slander and invasion of privacy.
  • Girls Aloud’s Cheryl Cole has said she has no plans to meet Justin Timberlake while he’s in London working with Madonna and other musicians ahead of his UK tour. Cheryl told the Mirror this week: “I don’t want to meet Justin Timberlake, I’ve heard he’s a d***head. He’s in town and probably everybody wants to meet him, but not me. I’m not into these people who think just because they are huge they can act like prats.”
  • Charlotte Church has described glamour model Jordan as being one of the best guests she’s interviewed on The Charlotte Church Show. Charlotte interviewed Jordan, real name Katie Price, for the last show in the second series (aired earlier this month) and described her as “fabulous”, saying Katie is “so clever, so unbelievably clever.” The chatshow is set to return for a third series over the summer but until then, pregnant Charlotte has no plans: “I’m probably going to do bugger all with my time constructively, just sit on the sofa.”
