- Britney Spears asked a paparazzo to videotape a somewhat sarcastic speech over a sushi dinner in Bel Air on Friday. Britney was dining with her BFF cousin Allie in yet another hat/mini-sundress combination. (More photos: here, here and here.)
- It was the GLAAD Awards 2007 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday night: Jennifer Aniston - in a great shaped but strangely decorated black dress - and Jake Gyllenhaal were the biggest names in attendance (and they hugged it out on stage together) but other guests included Lance Bass, Eva Mendes, some Ugly Betty cast members and stars of Grey’s Anatomy.
- Friday night saw the 14th Annual Race to Erase MS “Dance to Erase MS” charity event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel - Nick Lachey, Tara Reid and Michelle Rodriguez were amongst those attending, with Nicky Hilton and Nicole Richie modelling Tommy Hilfiger minidresses on the stage.
- Friday was a big day for Nicole Kidman too - she was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia - the country’s highest civil honour, akin to the UK’s knighthood - for her charity work. Nicole was given the honour at a ceremony at Government House in Canberra on Friday. Her husband Keith Urban and parents Janelle and Anthony attended the event.
- For other people, Friday was just a normal day - Madonna was spotted on her way home from the gym in London, ahead of her trip to Malawi this weekend, and Jake Gyllenhaal was snapped stocking up on supplies at Whole Foods in West Hollywood.
- Lindsay Lohan is currently in Japan for a photoshoot but it’s not all work-work-work - she stopped by friend, designer Charlotte Ronson’s flagship store in the Harajuku District of Tokyo on Friday and helped DJ at a club in the city on Thursday night.
- And of course, the usual celebrities have been spotted out and about with their offspring: Jennifer Garner was spotted blowing bubbles with daughter Violet.
- Courteney Cox Arquette took daughter Coco out for Tex-Mex at Marix in West Hollywood on Thursday night.
- Denise Richards was spotted shopping with daughters Sam and Lola at The Commons in Calabasas, California yesterday.
- And Adam Sandler was snapped playing with his daughter Sadie near the family home in Malibu.
- And speaking of beaches, Pamela Anderson is still on holiday with ex-husband Tommy Lee and their two sons Brandon and Dylan - and is still wearing itty-bitty bikinis.
