• Pete Doherty has been praised in his ongoing attempts to beat his drug addiction by the judge overseeing his supervision order. Pete was half an hour late for a review hearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court this morning but District Judge Jane McIvor told him: “There’s no obligation for you to turn up to the reviews. The fact you’ve turned up shows co-operation - more than co-operation - and there is no risk of you breaching this order.” Despite being over a year into the supervision order, all of Pete’s routine drugs tests have been positive for drug use but he said today: “I’m quite keen to show a negative test as soon as possible.”
  • Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart’s spokespeople have denied rumours that the couple are planning to marry after Harrison proposed - via Calista’s son Liam - earlier in the month. Grazia magazine claims Harrison asked six year old Liam to tell Calista “Mr Ford is going to be my daddy” before popping the question himself but their publicists have denied the rumours. Harrison and Calista have been together for five years.
  • In case the bridal shower at Felicity Huffman’s house at the weekend wasn’t enough, Teri Hatcher has hosted a second pre-wedding party for Desperate Housewives co-star Eva Longoria. 30 members of the show’s cast and crew celebrated Eva’s forthcoming nuptials with Moet champagne and finger food at Teri’s home on Monday evening, with guests given garters and Swarovski crystal candle-holders as presents for attending. Eva is set to marry fiance Tony Parker in Paris in July.
