  • What is going on with Jessica Simpson? Earlier in the week she wore a top that could barely contain her ample bosom and now she’s wearing a truly hideous combination of a tight white rollneck and the highest waist pants every created. Perhaps she thought by combining two ugly items it would look quirky and fun, but .. no. Just … no.
  • After a brief (and not total) respite the other day, Britney Spears is back in ugly dress mode too: she was spotted visiting a nail/tanning salon in Beverly Glen yesterday and later going shopping with cousin Allie in Beverly Hills - and managed three different outfits (a saggy purple dress with white horizontal stripes, a blue flowery pillow case of a dress and a white halter neck top with floaty orange skirt - the last one being the best of the three), each accessorised with her favourite tan boots, white bird hat - and lack of bra.
  • Jessica Alba on the other hand looks great in the gorgeous dress/make-up she wore for a Revlon ad shoot in Beverly Hills yesterday - just a shame (or bonus, depending on how you see it) that her skirt was rather see-through. Nice white boy shorts, Jess.
  • Halle Berry had a similar transparency issue at LAX on Tuesday when returning from a short break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry - but she was wearing a thong instead.
  • Super svelte Mischa Barton looks like she’s wearing a bustle under her kicky little skirt for a promotional appearance at Superdrug on Oxford Street in London yesterday. The outfit is fun but the silhouette makes her bum looks huge, and not in a good way.
  • Finally Avril Lavigne got the dress right (in a punky ballerina way) for the launch party of her new album at Box in New York on Tuesday night but her eye make up is perhaps, just perhaps, a little smidge too much.
