  • Pete Doherty celebrated his positive supervision order review yesterday by throwing a bucket of water at photographers outside the home he shares in North London with Kate Moss. The moment was captured by the very aptly named Splash agency.
  • Also in London - or at least in the Greater London area, Johnny Depp was spotted taking a stroll along the bank of the River Thames with his partner Vanessa Paradis and their children Lily-Rose and Jack. It’s the first time the family has been snapped out together since Lily-Rose was hospitalised due to a bout of E-Coli last month.
  • Ryan Phillippe took son Deacon to work with him yesterday for the last day of location shooting for Ryan’s new film Stop Loss. The pair were spotted together on the desert set around 50 miles out of Los Angeles. (Deacon’s mum Reese Witherspoon was snapped around the same time in LA, picking up a cup of coffee under the name of ‘Trista’.)

  • Jennifer Garner turned 35 on Tuesday and it looked like she’d actually spend the day without her beloved husband and daughter - she was snapped having lunch with some friends at The Ivy in Santa Monica then shopping at Elyse Walker in the Pacific Palisades - but she also found time to meet up with hubby Ben Affleck, 16 month old Violet and a gorgeous horse at a riding ring in Brentwood.
  • It’s just two months since Marcia Cross gave birth to her twin daughters but from the look of it, she’s already dropped the vast majority of her pregnancy weight - and now she’s shown us all how she did it: power walking.
  • Perhaps Michael Vartan should take up power walking too, to replace whatever he’s doing that results in the need for both hands to be bandaged and his fingers taped together for support. He was spotted looking rather broken at a lunch at Toast on Tuesday with friends.
  • And speaking of hands, Kate Hudson was spotted wearing a wedding-type ring on her left hand while picking up a coffee and a newspaper in New York on Tuesday. Later on, her boyfriend Owen Wilson was spotted arriving at her apartment in the city - and the pair then both left the building again, separately, a short while later.
