Madonna with son DavidRumours continue to circulate that Madonna plans to adopt a second child while in Malawi and that she has particularly fallen for a three year old girl called Grace.

According to the Daily Mail, Madonna first spotted the girl in a video provided by the Home of Hope orphanage last November and she requested a second 15 minute film to be made of Grace and sent to her London home before the pair met face to face this week.

Madonna took daughter Lourdes and son David to meet Grace in Malawi during their charity-related holiday in the country this week.

A source revealed: “At first all 11 children from the original video were there. Then all the other children went out and there was just Grace there.”

Madonna was chatting with her and David was playing with Madonna’s sunglasses. They were together for about 15 minutes. Madonna looked very happy with Grace.”

Unlike David, whose family gave him up to the orphanage because they could not look after him after the death of his mother, Grace is not thought to have any living relatives and has been at the orphanage since she was three months old. However, the adoption decision is in no way finalised yet - Madonna is said to also be considering another two girls from the orphanage and all three are undergoing medical tests for diseases such as Aids.

The source added: “Grace is not necessarily the one - though she is certainly a favourite. Madonna is looking at other children and Grace will probably not be coming home with her this trip.”
