  • Avril Lavigne has revealed she shunned expensive photographers and designers when it came to creating her new album cover - she got her husband Deryck Whibley to take the shots instead. She said recently: “We got in the car and went to the Valley in LA and I got onto the sidewalk and he shot me. It’s a really cool picture. You can pay thousands of dollars to have professionals do this stuff but it was me and Deryck and our two friends who did it all on our computer. I love the cover.”
  • In addition to a couple of rounds in Dundee last week, Justin Timberlake has spent the weekend playing golf at the exclusive K Club in Dublin ahead of the start of his UK tour this week. An inside source revealed: “Justin is crazy about golf and has been out [playing] already. He also spends a lot of time mixing with the other guests talking about the course. [He] is obsessed with the game he couldn’t visit Ireland and not come to the K Club.”
  • Jodie Kidd has split from husband Aidan Butler, less than 18 months after they married. The pair met while taking part in the 2004 Gumball Rally race and got engaged just eight weeks later. At the time, Jodie described Aidan as “the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with” and an inside source said there is chance that might still happen. The source told the Mirror: “They have separated - but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s for good. They’re hoping they might be able to save their marriage.”
