• David Beckham has reportedly made up with his father Ted after a feud lasting nearly three years. The pair fell out after Ted wrote a book about David’s football career without checking with his son first but now a source has told the People newspaper they’ve made up again after David made a surprise visit to Ted’s east London home: “It’s brilliant they’ve ended a conflict that did neither any good.”
  • Kate Hudson got many birthday kisses from much-much-much rumoured boyfriend Owen Wilson this week. An inside source told People magazine that Kate and Owen spent the week in New York together for her 28th birthday on Thursday and: “There was a big dinner at La Esquina with her closest friends for her birthday. [Kate and Owen] were kissing in the corner all night.” An onlooker added that Kate “seemed really happy” with Owen.
  • Kylie Minogue is reportedly set to play a Doctor Who baddie in the show’s Christmas special. An inside source at the BBC told the News of the World: “Kylie jumped at the chance to be in the show and is really looking forward to acting again. She is flattered to be asked to be in such a classic TV show. [Writer Russell T Davies] is just putting the finishing touches to the episode and it will be TV dynamite.”
