Amy Winehouse has confirmed that she’s engaged to boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil, describing herself as “a very lucky girl”.

Amy’s on-off boyfriend Blake proposed at their flat in North London after a night out last weekend but Amy took 24 hours to think about it before accepting.

She told the Sun: “He proposed at home a few days ago and I took a day to finally agree. Obviously we are both young and it is frightening. But it is the right thing to do. That is why I agreed.”

“We are very close and the best of friends. I don’t want to be with anyone else and nor does he.”

“I am a very lucky girl to have found someone I love a lot. I want to be with Blake for the rest of my life.”

Amy met Blake two and a half years ago but the two split up last year and Amy went onto have a nine month relationship with another man. They got back together again last month.
