Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie reportedly had a text message row after he went out to a bar while she is in Malawi with their children Lourdes and David.

Guy is reportedly already in his wife’s bad books after refusing to accompany her on the trip but it was made worse when he told her he was off out with friends to an exclusive bar while she carried out charity work in deprived areas.

Onlookers at the Mahiki bar in Mayfair told the Sunday Mirror that Guy spent the whole evening sat at the bar texting Madonna: “They call or text regularly, but ended up having a massive argument.”

“Guy just wanted to meet some mates for a few beers while his wife was away. But Madonna was hurt he didn’t join her in Malawi.”

Madonna is overseeing charity work in the country and is rumoured to be meeting various children with the hope of adopting them - but it looks like she might not be able to adopt another child even if she wants to.

A Malawi government source told the People newspaper that she will have to wait at least until the legal challenge over the adoption of her son David is resolved - and if that case goes against her, she might not be able to adopt any more children from the country at all.
