Geri Halliwell and daughter BluebellGeri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell had a celebrity-studded christening at St Michael’s Church in Highgate, London yesterday.

Three out of four of Geri’s former Spice Girls bandmates made an appearance with Victoria Beckham signed up to be eleven-month-old Bluebell’s godmother, opposite George Michael’s partner Kenny Goss as her godfather. The only exception from the Spice Girls reunion was Melanie Brown, who is currently in LA looking after her newborn daughter, Fortuna.

Other celebrities amongst the 200 guests included Geri’s friend, Little Britain’s David Walliams and socialite Lady Isabella Hervey.

A source at the 50-minute service told the Mirror: “Geri had a fantastic time. She was touched that the other Spice Girls made the effort to come.”

“Victoria, in particular, shared a very tender moment with Bluebell. You can tell she’s going to dote on her.”

Regarding the ceremony itself, Lady Isabella Hervey told the Daily Express: “It was a lovely service. Geri looked stunning.”

“It was good to see so many of the Spice Girls back together and getting on so well.”
