  • Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have filed papers at a court in Los Angeles to officially changed new son Pax’s surname to Jolie-Pitt rather than just Jolie. The three year old boy was adopted solely by Angelina last month because his native Vietnam does not allow unmarried couples to adopt jointly. The couple entered the legal documents yesterday to request his name is changed to reflect Brad’s role in his life and match the surname of his siblings.
  • Kirsten Dunst has expressed annoyance about her Spider-Man 3 co-star Tobey Maguire’s obsession with a particular type of bottled water. The pair are currently promoting the film around the world and details of Tobey’s favourite brand of water are put in their rider. Kirsten revealed recently: “Tobey only likes to drink one kind of water. So, wherever we go promoting the movie, that’s kind of a bad habit of his. Water is just water.”
  • Melanie Brown has explained her decision to name her new daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown - including Eddie Murphy’s surname even though he is contesting paternity. Mel told OK magazine: “[I called her] Angel, as she was my little angel through my pregnancy. Iris, as it’s my grandma’s name. Murphy, because he’s the dad. And Brown, because I’m the mum.” Angel was born in Los Angeles earlier this month and is Mel’s second child: she has an eight year old daughter Phoenix from a previous relationship.
