Reese Witherspoon upset by Jake Gyllenhaal/Jennifer Aniston awards hug
Reese Witherspoon reportedly burst into tears when she saw Jennifer Aniston enjoy a prolonged embrace with Jake Gyllenhaal at the GLAAD awards earlier this month.
Jake presented Jennifer, his The Good Girl co-star, with the Vanguard Award at the ceremony, to light of her contributions to helping increase visibility and understanding of the LGBT community in Hollywood and as Jennifer joined him on stage, the pair shared a hug and a kiss.
A source told Woman’s Day magazine: “It wasn’t just a polite peck on the cheek. There was definitely feeling in that embrace.”
“When Reese heard about it, she broke down in tears asking, ‘Why would he do that?’ She is very unhappy about it.”
“She always thought Jake was intelligent and charming. That’s why she’s so stunned by the photographs of Jake and Jen. She’s really hurt by what she’s seen. They seem to be very explicit and everyone knows Jennifer’s looking for love.”
Reese is rumoured to be seeing Jake after getting to know him on the set of their movie Rendition. Spokespeople for the pair refuse to comment on the relationship rumours.

Jake & Jen have been friends for a long time, yes there may be chemistry but that is it. Jen & Reese are also friends, and this website failed to mention that when Jen heard that Reese was upset over what Jen thought was nothing more than a friendly gesture, she called Reese and told her that there was nothing going on. So pam, there really is no need to get nasty, whoever your words were aimed at!

I think Reese is over reacting - she is known for being quite high strung and strong willed. Besides, are they really having a relationship, she isn’t even divorced yet. Seems like Jake has enough sense not to get involved with Reese at this stage. Even so, a little early to get all jealous and possessive. Isn’t that why Ryan Phillippe left her in the first place?

Reese doesn’t have anything to worry about. All she needs to do is look at the entire tape & she’ll see Jake trying to get the h*ll away from the has been sitcom star. Old pity me was trying hard to latch on to Jake, but, he wanted no part of it. H*ll old pity me’s dog Norman would leave her if he could. Don’t worry Reese, old pity me isn’t woman enough to take your man even though she was trying hard too.

Oh, come on! Look at Jennifer’s body language! She’s leaning AWAY from Jake - it’s him who has the hots for her. Reese needs to watch him - not Jen or any other woman.

I think there is sth to worry about. I do not believe when people say we are just friends and it was just a kiss. It is not that simple. I mean cant u see it they look great and seem so happy and it is obvious they like each other. Look at Jake, his face is totally red on pictures :)he is more than happy..Obviosly likes her pals but he cannot say it because maybe she is older than her or sth else..
