Victoria Beckham has spoken about her Spice Girls-era eating disorder.

Even though she’s probably thinner than ever at the moment, Victoria denies she has a problem now but told Heat magazine recently that she was somewhat obsessed with food in her Posh days.

She said: “I became obsessed with what I looked like. I would look in the mirror and check the size of my bottom, see if my double chin was getting smaller.”

“I began living on vegetables and nothing else. But it never occurred to me that I had an eating disorder.”

She added that in the late 1990s she was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and advised to eat a more varied diet: “I did start eating more after that. But the damage had been done. All I would eat was vegetables, chicken, fruit and fish.”

“It freaked me out having to eat proper food because I hadn’t for so long.”

“I do control my eating [now]. But I think there is a big difference between someone having an eating disorder and someone who is controlled about what they eat.”
