Kirsten Dunst sexes up Spider-Man’s Mary Jane - but not too much

Kirsten Dunst has revealed her character Mary Jane got a bit of a boost for Spider-Man 3: the svelte actress was made to wear padded bra to give her more curves.

Kirsten said this week: “I had to wear a padded bra on this movie, but I get it. It’s OK. It’s part of the thing.”

“I didn’t feel like it was sexist or anything. I embraced my Mary Jane boobs!”

“I know that her boobs are usually enhanced on the action figure toys as well.”

She added that even with the bigger boobs, the movie Mary Jane is still considerably less of a sexpot than the comic version: “We try to be true to the books but also to alternate and interpret them in our own way.”

“If I was Mary Jane from the comics I’d be walking around in lingerie saying, ‘Hey tiger’ all day.”
