Wayne Rooney loses control of new Lamborghini

England football star Wayne Rooney has reportedly told his Manchester United teammates that he had a brush with death at the weekend when he lost control of his new Lamborghini.

Wayne ended up facing the wrong way on the A6 between Manchester and Macclesfield after taking a corner too quickly in his new sportscar and spinning out of control. Wayne was able to restart the car and correct his position before a crash could occur but a source told the Sun that the footballer was shaken up by the incident.

The source told the newspaper: “Wayne had a real fright. The car is seriously powerful.”

“He only had it delivered a week or so ago and was finding out what it could do. He learned his lesson and is taking his foot off the gas now.”
