- Victoria Beckham might only have been in LA for flying visit over the weekend but she still managed to fit in three outfits - and some shopping. She arrived in LA on Saturday to sign the papers finalising the purchase of their new family home then hit designers shops, such as Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo, on Sunset Boulevard for a spot of shopping - before returning to LAX and hopping on a plane back to Madrid on Sunday. (Husband David Beckham didn’t join her to sign the deeds because he was in Bilbao in northern Spain for a Real Madrid match - and to show off his newly blonde locks again.)
- Britney Spears took a trip to the shops too to buy baby clothes - but perhaps she should have been looking for new clothes for herself instead: this outfit from Saturday is not a dress, it’s lingerie. Really bad cheap looking lingerie. Still she cover herself up a bit (with a lacy table cloth??) for a night out with rehab-boyfriend Howie Day that evening. The couple dined together at The Bridge, then toured the various celeb-favoured nightclubs of Los Angeles: Element, Les Deus, Parc and Teddy’s.
- Over in Australia, various stars came out for the MTV Australia Video Music Awards. Pink, Fergie and Nicole Richie amongst others were snapped on the red carpet with the latter lady looking pretty healthy and happy in a beyond maxi-dress.
- Sandra Bullock and Jesse James were spotted near their Orange County home over the weekend - presuming hoping this weekend would be less eventful (and dangerous) than the last one for them.
- Also out and about, new mum Marcia Cross and husband Tom Mahoney took their twins girls for a stroll in the sunshine.
- And Gwyneth Paltrow was snapped with daughter Apple shopping at Maxfield’s on Melrose on Saturday afternoon.
- In London, Gwyneth’s friend Madonna was snapped arriving for dinner at Claridges Hotel - rocking a new strawberry blonde hair colour.
- Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry were spotted arriving back in LAX yesterday after a couple of days in New York.
- And finally, celebs on holiday - Christian Slater was snapped playing in the ocean with his two children - Jaden and Eliana - and his girlfriend, in Hawaii.
- And as if there weren’t enough celebs already over there, Christina Applegate is in Maui too.
