Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has admitted she no longer likes her tattoos.

Melanie had ten pieces of art etched on her body - including a solid black cross on her arm and a dragon on her leg - when she was in the girl band and liked them at the time but now she has regrets about getting them.

She said recently: “Don’t you think they’re such a ridiculous thing to do to yourself? Now I see it’s odd to mark yourself forever.”

“They look nice when you’re toned and tanned and fabulous. But when I put on weight they looked awful. I haven’t had one for seven years now.”
