• Bruce Willis has revealed he’s glad he had the opportunity to make Die Hard 4 before he got any older. Live Free or Die Hard will be released this summer, 19 years after the first film in the series and Bruce has said those years have made it hard for him to play the daredevil hero John McClane. He told Vanity Fair recently: “A lot of the physical stuff they had me doing was still, let’s say, low-tech. I don’t bounce as well off the concrete floors as I used to… I’m glad I didn’t wait a couple more years to do this.”
  • Sugababe Amelle Berrabah has told friends she is “devastated” over her arrest for assault at the weekend because she is “the innocent party”. Amelle was arrested after a fight with another girl at a bar in Guildford. She’s quoted in the Mirror as saying: “The other girls should be the ones punished, not me. What happened was unbelievable and my sister got hit by one of the boys.” Police are continuing to investigate the case.
  • Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz (with Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy and fashion designer Jamison Ernest) has opened a bar in New York but he’s really hoping it doesn’t become an exclusive celebrity favourite. He said at the opening of Angels & Kings last night, it’s a place for “all our loser friends can hang out. We really just want someplace where we can hang out and be ourselves. It will be a bit of a dive, which we need … a place that anyone can go and have sex in the bathroom and not get in trouble.”
