David and Victoria BeckhamIn an almost repeat of her birthday last month, Victoria Beckham took husband David Beckham on a £20,000 shopping trip then for dinner with friends and family at an exclusive restaurant for his 32nd birthday yesterday.

After their trip to Paris for Victoria’s birthday last month, the couple headed to London to celebrate David’s special day. The pair were spotted shopping on the famous Savile Row - buying a £4,500 suit and £14,000 watch as well as having David fitted for a pair of custom-made £1,900 shoes (mirroring Victoria’s designer dress and Christian Louboutin shoes).

The pair then headed over for dinner at Cipriani in Mayfair, with Victoria’s former Spice Girl bandmates Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown. Other celebrity friends at the meal including chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, Little Britain star David Walliams (accompanying Geri) and designer Kelly Hoppen. David’s mum and sister Joanne were also in attendance, and Victoria’s sister Louise Adams also got an invite.

Much like Victoria’s trip to Paris, the day was a surprise for David. A source told the Mirror that she spent £16,000 on a private plane to fly them over from Madrid for the day and had even wangled him the day off work: “She got permission from Real Madrid but David had no idea what for.”

“He was really touched that she spent so much time arranging everything and he loved every minute.”
