Adrain Washington is Bringing Chocolate Back

If it never left, where did it go? I found some hidden in a corner of one of Miami’s beach trimmed patios. I got lucky enough to experience an hour with an American treasure, even if the world doesn’t know it yet.

Standing at just over six feet tall he has the look of an African prince wearing a Sean John linen shirt, Mecca Co. blue jeans and burgundy Cole Haan leather loafers. Sitting comfortably in a cabana chair, fitted with a Brooks Brothers version of a stylish kagol, I realize, there is a new heart throb making his way to the top of the film scene. Having already done my research on Mr. Adrain Washington, it was apparent that he was steadily climbing the charts as the next Denzel, Wesley, or whomever your heart throbs for. Just sitting across from him I could easily see no better place for him than the career he had chosen for himself. This young stud out of New York City with a hint of South KakyLaky (South Carolina), is (and I do mean IS) not only pleasing to the eye but has the skills to make the camera fall in love with him. Reading his press packet, Google searching him, and having been to one of his sold out shows (Greener Grasses by Sabora Rashid) It wasn’t hard to agree with fans that resound, “he is a wonder and a delight to watch.”
As he brought my drink back to the table, I watched him strut as though he knew he owned the world and it was just his matter of choosing when he claimed it. As he approached the table I looked at my drink and I thought “would I mind if he slipped…”
Though very young in the industry, Adrain Washington struts with that genuine gentleman’s quality women seem to love so well in the likes of Don Cheadle and Denzel Washington among few others. He is part of that rare breed that has obviously decline in such a selfish age. It is nice to see such sweet and endearing qualities used to set an example for a generation that seems to have been destroyed by all the opposites of the qualities that make a man. So sexy, so handsome, and yet the humility to tell us he know he’s all these things, without saying he knows, even though we know he knows. What a delicious treat for the mind, wouldn’t you say? Dark, smooth, chocolate skin, beautiful brown, almond eyes, a beard trimmed to support those high cheek bones, and let’s not forget those South Carolina thick arms, whew! During a time when it seemed we were losing our dark and sexies to bad acting, Father Time or good eating, I am very happy to say thank God for Adrain Washington.

I am a big fan of Adrain Washington. I’ve seen a lot of indie stuff he’s been in. You’re right he is a great actor. I hope they give him a chance. To be in miami with him, a future star, let me restate that “a star that has a huge future” there that’s better. So, your in Miami and he brings you a drink back girl that is amazing. Maybe I should write interviews. Especially if its like that and I would like to see more of him in bigger movies. Fan for life. Sara
