I was right to call Lindsay Lohan on her behaviour, says Georgia Rule exec
James G Robinson, the studio executive behind the infamous “spoilt child” letter to Lindsay Lohan last summer, has explained his action at the premiere of the film on Tuesday.
James came to write the letter after Lindsay missed a day of shooting on Georgia Rule and was constantly late arriving at the set. He explained at the screening in New York this week: “I wrote that letter six times. I started out being p*ssed off. There was anger in some drafts, but I think I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish.”
“And from that day on, she didn’t miss any time. She came to work on time, knew her lines and, boy, she’s a fantastic actor. She’s probably one of the most talented.”
He said that he has no hard feelings towards Lindsay: “She’s 20 years old, one of the most famous women in the world. That’s a lot for someone. … She’s a good person. She’s a nice person. She is not a little b*tch. She’s a nice, decent person. She just likes to stay out too late at night.”
Director Garry Marshall added that while James’ action was necessary on a film with such a tight shooting schedule, he’s worried about how such stories will hit Lindsay’s reputation: “Any publicity is good publicity, but in this case, I think it distorts what a good actress Lindsay is.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
