Lily Allen has revealed that contrary to the popular belief that she must have a grudge against Kate Moss - because the pair launched their own fashion lines at rival stores earlier this month - she is actually rather fond of the supermodel.

Lily recently recalled saved by Kate after an incident at the Glastonbury festival. Lily had been confronted by a groups of girls as one of the girls thought Lily had slept with her boyfriend: “They beat me up. They stabbed me in the ear with a beer can and cut my ear open and I had two black eyes. It was a nightmare.”

But Kate stepped in: “I only have nice things to say about Kate. She actually jumped to my defence.”

“Kate stood in and said, ‘Stop being mean’. So I have nothing bad to say about her, she’s only ever been lovely to me.”
