Sheryl Crow adopts a baby boy
Sheryl Crow has revealed she’s adopted a two week old baby boy.
Writing on her website’s blog, she explained: “I am so excited to share with you guys that I’ve adopted a little boy .. he was born 2 weeks ago.”
“His name is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and [my manager Steven Weintraub, known as] Scooter) and we are enjoying some very private family time.”
Sheryl revealed in March that she is in a “happy, successful relationship” but refused to name her partner to protect their privacy. It is not known whether she made a single or joint adoption of baby Wyatt.
Her spokesperson confirmed the adoption but refused to add any further information other than saying that the baby was born in the United States and that Sheryl will “take some time off to be a mom” over the next few months.

Celebrities and adopted children is the new thing now. Everybody’s doing it. It’s like Kaballah. Breaking news - Sheryl Crow adopts a baby. Aww Sheryl, I’m so happy for you and your baby boy.
But did you really adopt out of love - Lady?
It seems to me nowadays that Hollywood is living up to the name “Hollyweird”. Nowadays the people in hollywood have been trading in the poodles and high priced puppy’s for little orphan children.Oh, thats the new fad. its the “in thing to do”. But what the world fails to realize is that these people are actually doing it out of selfishness.
Lemme break it down for you!
Sheryl “Can” have children, But she won’t becouse she doesnt want to destroy that good ol body that she has kept up for so much years. God forbid she gets a stretch mark. She copies everyone else in the biz with the whole adoption thing. Usually celebs who pull a stunt like this, Are actually going through a low point in their careers and they want to adopt so the papparazzi can be all over them again and the rumers start again and Sheryl Crow will be all over the news again. She’s not doing it becouse she loves the child, She’s doing it out of selfishness. When she’s away on a tour for 3 months or something, The nanny will just raise the child. These people are never home! But she’s rich so the nanny will pick up the slack. Thats why you notice that all these celebs who adopt actually adopt a child out of the country or privatly, Becouse they know that if they go to an agency (which they are supposed to do), The agency will first ask them, How can you raise this child when your’e never home?
I see through all that garbage and i have learned (from working with them L.A.) that celebs are really losers who are extremly selfish and only do things for their own personal gain and they do not care who they hurt in the process.
i know this all too well. I once was a poor black kid from brooklyn who grew up across the street from a lady who kept a household of adopted kids becouse she wanted the money from the city. So i know what this is from the jump.(Sheryl) doesn’t want the city’s money (Of course not) but she wants money in other ways and an adopted child would be the next tool to do so. But keep in mind that adopted children grow up to be adults who will sooner or later recognize the real reason why they were adopted in the first place.and you will pay the price.
Raising a child doesn’t have anything to do with how much money you have (look at how Paris Hilton and others were raised). Are you gonna be home to read a book to them? Can you cook a decent homemade meal for them? Can you walk and talk with them on a lazy sunday afternoon? Will you be able to teach them family values, respect and love? Or are you gonna be out late taking flicks from the papparazzi and out on long trips to amsterdam for 3 months at a time or filming a movie way out somewhere?
Yall really dont know what youre doing and this is not a game. You cant just give it back when youre done.
But hey - That’s just my views on this matter. And who am i to judge? I’m just a regular guy from brooklyn. But Sheryl’s nanny has a big job ahead of her for the next 18 years (LOL).
Shout out to Steven Speilberg who adopted way back in the 70’s. He did it genuinely. Even when the big boys in Hollywood told him that if he did it, His career would be finished. He still did it! We know who’s real and who’s not!
Peace,

Mikey: The thorough passion and lenghty detail of your above posting suggests that, on some pure visceral level, you were Divinely inspired to write it. Just between you and me, I suspect that she adopted the needy child to make a 666 Victoria’s Secret statement. Because some time ago she got a Texas June bug up her Austin City Limits a*s about yours truly. WP

Ok some people may look like they are adopting for the wrong reasons but we don’t really know them or their reasons. There are also people who biologically have children then do the same thing though. I know of a family who went through ivf to have a child and now this wonderous creation sits in a nursery from 7 til 7 everyday of the week. Why bother? Some people have children or adopt out of pure love, some people have children or adopt because it would look good in their photos or its the in thing in their crowd. We can only guess at which circles people come from
