  • Drew Barrymore has been named as the latest celebrity ambassador for the United Nations. Drew has been enlisted as an Ambassador Against Hunger as part of the United Nations World Food Programme and she said of her appointment: “I am honored and humbled to accept this challenging and rewarding assignment. I can’t think of any issue that is more important than working to see that no schoolchild in this world goes hungry.”
  • Former The Sopranos star Drea De Matteo is reportedly pregnant with her first child. According to the New York Post, Drea, who played Adriana in the series, was overheard telling staff at Veronique Maternity in New York that she was expecting a baby with boyfriend Shooter Jennings. The source added: “She isn’t showing much of a baby bump yet.”
