She said recently: “If a woman who is a successful actress weighs 300 pounds and has warts, nobody ever asks her, ‘Do you think you made it because you’re ugly?’ So why should there be prejudice against someone who’s had some success in films and looks a little better than average? It’s all in my genes, so don’t hold it against me.”
  • Grey’s Anatomy star Kate Walsh has confirmed that she’s got engaged to boyfriend Alex Young. Alex, an executive at 20th Century Fox, proposed to her in San Francisco last week with a Neil Lane diamond ring. She said: “It happened a few days ago. He’s the most amazing man I ever met. I’m on cloud nine.”
