Amy Winehouse has married fiance Blake Fielder-Civil in a secret ceremony in Miami.

The couple, who got engaged last month after getting back together following an 18-month split in March, were married on Friday morning. Marriage clerk Sammy Calixte, who conducted the ceremony, reported: “They came in this morning to get married and they were alone. I read the vows and each one said ‘I do’. When I pronounced them man and wife, they hugged and kissed.”

Amy wore a short floral-patterned sundress for the ceremony while Blake wore a retro grey suit. After the ceremony, they headed to the nearby Big Pink Diner for a $6 burger-and-chips wedding breakfast.

They later returned to their hotel to for a “reception” around the pool (and pool bar) with friends and Amy’s management team - before Blake carried Amy across the threshold of their hotel room.

Amy’s spokesperson confirmed the nuptials saying: “Amy and Blake got married [on Friday]. They are both very happy.”

The couple have reportedly sold exclusive pictures of their big day to a magazine for £250,000 but are not planning on spending any of that money on a honeymoon - Amy has to get straight back to work filming her new video in Los Angeles next week.
