• Paris Hilton will reportedly be tagged with a panic alarm during her stay in the Century Regional Detention Facility in Los Angeles next month. According to the Sun, Paris will be given the alarm to directly contact guards in case she feels threatened by fellow inmates during her jailtime. She is already set to be housed in a “special needs” unit for high-profile inmates, away from the general population of the prison.
  • Paula Abdul has broken her nose after a quick-footed maneouvre to avoid stepping on one of her Chihuahuas went slightly wrong. According to her spokesperson, Paula “tripped to avoid stepping on Tulip. But she is fine. This will have no effect whatsoever on her appearance for the American Idol finale [this week].”
  • Demi Moore has said she would love to have a son to balance out her three daughters. Speaking at a Mr Brooks press event this morning, the mum of teenage girls Rumer, Scout and Tallulah said a baby boy would be great: “I wouldn’t mind a little balancing out of that estrogen” and added: “I think [pregnancy] is by far one of the most empowering experiences a woman can have.” She and husband Ashton Kutcher have repeatedly denied rumours that Demi is pregnant since their marriage in 2005.
