Photo stories: Cannes Film Festival special
- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got dressed up to the hilt for of A Mighty Heart at the Cannes Film Festival last night. The couple - with their four kids - were spotted leaving their temporary base in Prague on Sunday and had dinner with friends at Le Moulin de Mougins that evening, before their big day on Monday. The pair attend a press conference/photo call on Monday morning ahead of the big event in the evening.
- Brad’s Ocean’s 13 co-star Matt Damon is also in France for the Fest - he took his wife Luciana and their daughter Isabella along to a private Ocean’s 13 cocktail party at the Eden Roc Hotel yesterday. Brad might have been busy elsewhere but the titular Ocean, George Clooney, was also at the cast and crew event.
- Daniel Craig has also been on the promotional circuit - after arriving in the resort on Sunday, he attended a photo call for The Golden Compass with Casino Royale co-star Eva Green on Monday morning.
- For other celebrities though, the festival is more about the social life rather than the publicity trial. Jason Statham might be in town to promote new film The Bank Job but he seems to have spent more time diving off cliffs than hitting the red carpet.
- Mischa Barton is also in town - lapping up the sunshine in (surprise, surprise) a retro mini-dress then attending the Mighty Heart premiere in something a little more leg-covering.
- Finally Pamela Anderson is supposedly at the Fest to promote Blonde and Blonder but has mostly just been posing in her bikini - and avoiding bumping into ex-husband Kid Rock after their reunion at the event last year.
