Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie has said she has no plans to alter her lifestyle or back out of the limelight just to avoid being criticised by the media.

In a recent interview with Ann Curry, she said: “There’s nothing I have to hide or defend…you know, I’m gonna live my life.”

“And there are gonna be times when people wanna try to attack me and I don’t know why, but they will. And that’s okay…. There are other things I’m more concerned about…”

“I have a lot I want to do in this world… I’m gonna be dead one day. And what people say about me is gonna be what I accomplished and what I did in my life and how my children are.”

At a recent press conference at the Cannes Film Festival, she added that she won’t be put off her charity work by criticism or threats: “I don’t want to live inside a box. I will be smart, but I will lead a very bold life, and I will learn about the world.”
