katie_holmes_tom_cruise_01.jpgAlthough we feel we’ve heard similar rumours several times before, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly trying for a second baby.

Their first daughter, Suri, turned one last month and according to Life & Style magazine, Suri’s birthday celebrations made Tom focus on his family.

A source claiming to be a friend of the couple’s told the magazine: “He told [Katie] how much he loves their little girl and how he wants to have another baby when she’s ready. She told him she’s ready.”

Katie is currently filming Mad Money in Louisiana but back in LA, the growing family are preparing to move into a new home in Beverly Hills and Tom has designated one of the bedrooms in the new property as a nursery for the new baby. The source added: “in his typically enthusiastic fashion, Tom’s moving full steam ahead preparing for a new arrival.”
