Amy Winehouse has revealed after missing Amy’s quickee wedding ceremony in Miami last weekend, her mum is insisting that the happy couple have a second event for their friends and family.

Amy married fiance Blake Fielder-Civil in a private ceremony last Friday morning and told the Mirror yesterday: “Our wedding was all about us and it’s something that we’d both been planning for a while. We just wanted to go away and do something with no fuss.”

“We haven’t even had time to get the rings yet so we’re going to Tiffany’s to get my engagement ring re-sized and then we’ll pick up our wedding bands together.

“My dad was all right with us when he found out but he was upset for Mum. But you know what? We’re gonna do the whole big thing for everyone over here. But we always knew our ceremony was going to be just about me and Blake.”

A friend of the singer told Daily Mail: “Amy is unpredictable at the best of times but news of this wedding still proved quite a shock to her parents.”

“Although Amy has absolutely no regrets about the Miami do, she does now realise just how important the marriage is to her mother.”

“After talking it through with Blake and her parents, the pair have agreed to hold a big family bash near their home in North London. It has not been agreed yet whether it will be a formal civil ceremony or a more chilled-out blessing.”

Speaking at yesterday’s Ivor Novello Awards Ceremony - where she picked up the “Best Contemporary Song” prize of ‘Rehab’ - Amy added: “I’m so happy. I married the most wonderful guy in the world. We always knew we were going to be together for ever and I just can’t tell you how happy we both are. Every day is like a honeymoon with Blake.”
