Yoko Ono has praised Heather Mills for changing US public opinion of her by appearing on Dancing with the Stars.

Even though Heather was knocked out in week six of the series, many viewers - including Yoko - were impressed by her determination to dance with her prosthetic leg.

Yoko said recently: “That was so incredible. Making herself a heroine with that ballroom dancing stuff in America.”

“She did it single-handedly. That’s difficult for anyone to do.”

Yoko added that she thought Heather should try not to feel bad about the frequent negative news stories about her divorce from Paul McCartney: “The worst thing a woman can have is guilt. As long as your intention is not to hurt or upset other people, then anything you do is fine.”
