  • After a couple of weeks of melancholy, Paris Hilton now seems to be making the most of her last days of freedom before the start of her jail sentence next week. She hosted a Memorial Day party at her home on Monday and her guests included celebrity friends Nicole Richie, Elisha Cuthbert, little sister Nicky Hilton and Brandon Davis.
  • Sometime-friend Lindsay Lohan might have been on the invite list too but she spent her Monday checking into Promises Treatment Center. Splash have the first photo of her inside the facility.
  • Ex-Promises resident Britney Spears was spotted looking happy and healthy yesterday when she stopped off for a quick visit to her favourite tanning parlour, the Epitome Spa in Beverly Glen.
  • Elsewhere, some celebrities actually have to work (even if it’s not exactly what you and I might call work). Cameron Diaz is currently in South East Asia for regional premieres of Shrek the Third. Japan’s screening took place in Tokyo’s NHK Hall on Monday and the premiere in South Korea took place earlier today.

  • In Canada, Penelope Cruz was snapped on the set of new film Elegy in Vancouver.
  • And in Montreal, Brad Pitt is filming the last scenes of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
  • And because he’s back at work, Angelina Jolie had to do the school run. She was spotted taking son Pax and daughter Zahara to the American Embassy compound in Prague yesterday.
  • New mum Sheryl Crow looks to be inseparable from son Wyatt. She took the baby on a hike around Runyon Canyon Park in Los Angeles on Monday before taking him over to Lucky’s restaurant in Santa Barbara for a playdate with Courteney Cox-Arquette’s daughter Coco and Laura Dern’s daughter Jaya (although at just one month old, he probably just spent the time drooling).
  • Heidi Klum is still in New York with her trio. She was spotted with daughter Leni and sons Henry & Johan during a shopping trip in the West Village - and if she couldn’t cope with the three-under-three by herself, she had her mum Erna and three assistants to help out.
  • Gwyneth Paltrow’s mum Blythe Danner was also in grandma mode over the weekend - she was snapped with granddaughter Apple while Gwyneth tried to hide from the cameras.
