Charlotte Church has revealed she spent thousands of pounds on an operation to save the life of one of her dogs.

Charlotte has four Jack Russell dogs but one dog in particular needed treatment.

She said recently: “Benny is three, but when he was born he had a wild heart beat - three times faster than most dogs.”

“He had open heart surgery. He would have died otherwise.”

“The bill was so expensive, much more than I have ever paid on health care for me, or any member of my family.”

“The dogs get all the good treatment.”
