Paris Hilton’s jail sentence is absurd, says Nicky Hilton

Paris Hilton’s little sister Nicky Hilton has said she thinks it’s “absurd” that Paris is going to jail over a driving offence.

Speaking at a Blackberry Curve event at the Beverly Wilshire hotel on Thursday night, Nicky told the New York Daily News: “I think my sister 100% deserves to be punished, but it’s kind of absurd that she’s going to jail for a traffic violation.”

Paris refused to add her own opinion on the matter saying “my lawyer would kill me”.

The sisters went to Teddy’s after the Blackberry event with onlookers suggesting the night out would be Paris’ last hurrah before surrendering herself to start her jail sentence next week.

A fellow clubgoer told Us Weekly: “She was getting hugs from her friends and looking rather down and depressed.”

Paris is expected to start her sentence on Monday.

Hilton should be jailed and treated exactly like a criminal, which is what she is after breaking the law.
Does money and ‘fame’ make you somehow above the law??
Make her serve her term in the spotlight, and in with the normal prisoners, not in some special ‘unit’ just because of who she is, hard labor and all, getting her hands dirty, cleaning up, just as a normal person.
She deserves every second of her punishment, if I was the Judge, I would have given her three months, not just three weeks.

Normal people don’t usually serve time or hard labor as you call it for a probation infraction. Its a shame you are so angry - sounds to be like you are jealous and bored. Getting laid is an option, Diane

I believe that the sentance has been fairly cast. And she needs to be in an iscolation unit because she had recived threats from pathetic inmates who have nothing better to do. Im looking forward to seeing the “new” improved paris when she gets outta there! And it is good that she has gone to a public jail and not paid for some special place in an airport or woteva.
