Gavin Henson has got his wish to raise his family in the country - the Welsh rugby player and girlfriend Charlotte Church have bought a new home outside of Cardiff.

A source told the Sun that the £800,000 property has a swimming pool and hot tub is on 1.5 acres of land: “The house is everything Charlotte and Gavin have dreamed of.”

“Gavin often talks about how he was brought up in the country and that’s what they both want for their baby.”

“They won’t move in until after the baby’s born and in the meantime they’re having lots of work done. Charlotte’s having a gym fitted for Gavin as well as a games room.”

Charlotte is due to give birth in the early autumn.
