  • Jessica Alba really had to put in the time to prepare for role in new film The Eye because her character is a blind violinist. In addition to being able to use a cane properly, Jessica’s had to learn how to play her character’s musical instrument: “I don’t know much, or anything really, about classical music - unfortunately - and I had to learn in six months to play Beethoven and Mozart. It was so hard, I practiced for hours.”
  • Charlotte Church has revealed that her key pregnancy cravings at the moment are boyfriend Gavin Henson’s mum’s fruit crumbles. Speaking at the Glamour Awards on Tuesday night, she told the Mirror: “I’m addicted. My favourite is apple and blackcurrant, then the apple and raspberry, and strawberry’s pretty good.” She added that she’s not drinking during her pregnancy and she’s not liking it. While picking up her TV Personality trophy at the awards, she told the crowd: “Hi. I’m really f***ing sober. Have a few drinks for me. You b*******.”
