Courteney Cox-Arquette insists that her best friend Jennifer Aniston is doing “great” at the moment and people should “stop worrying” about her.

Jennifer split from then-husband Brad Pitt in January 2005 then had an 18 month relationship with Vince Vaughn which ended late last year. She’s been single since then but has recently been linked to male model Paul Sculfor.

Courteney was understandably reluctant to talk about someone else in an interview about herself but she told Marie Claire recently: “I think it might be getting a little better now, but for a while her life was expected to be everyone’s life … People should stop worrying about her life.”

“I could talk about just how great she is doing at the moment, but then it’s just an interview about her. I understand your position because her world is so public but, well, I can tell you we’re both very fortunate to have each other.”
