  • Between A Mighty Heart and Ocean’s 13, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt barely seem to have left the world of red carpets for the last month. The Mighty Heart premiere wagon rolled into New York last night and Angelina proudly wore a $26 crushed velvet dress that she picked up from a vintage clothes store in LA. It just goes to show you don’t need to spend a million dollars to look it - but, you know, perfect make-up, expensively tousled hair, diamond jewellery and a top of the line suited-and-booted mancessory do help quite a lot.
  • After they’d done their turn on the red carpet and watched the screening, the pair headed to the after-party at the nearby Metropolitan Club thrown in aid of Reporters Without Borders.
  • Still on the premiere trail, the Shrek the Third team came together (again) for the Spanish premiere at the Palacio de la Musica Cinema in Madrid last night. Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, looked great, happy, friendly, yadda yadda yadda.
  • One of Madrid’s most famous residents (if only until July), Victoria Beckham was spotted boarding a cross-country flight from LAX to New York yesterday afternoon - and somewhat out of character for her, she departed and arrived wearing the same outfit. That sound you can hear is the fashion industry collectively gasping in surprise and horror.
  • Another member on the multi-outfits-in-one-day school of thought, Britney Spears changed between two white dresses during a shopping expedition around Beverly Hills with cousin Allie yesterday. If only she’s sorted out her weave at the same time…

  • And speaking of bad hair, Joel Madden showed off a new inverse skunk look on leaving the Neil George salon in LA yesterday. Girlfriend Nicole Richie - displaying her own dark-rooted stripe - accompanied him to the hairdressers.
  • It’s obviously Ryan Phillippe’s turn for the school run this week - he was spotted taking Ava and Deacon, his children from his marriage to Reese Witherspoon, to school yesterday.
  • At 18 months old, Violet Affleck is young for school but her mum Jennifer Garner took her to the Kidnasium Children’s Gym in Santa Monica for a workout/play yesterday before the pair headed over to get fresh groceries from the nearby Brentwood Country Mart.
  • Calista Flockhart has also been in mum mode - she was snapped with son Liam at a kids league baseball game in Brentwood.
  • And Meg Ryan was snapped enjoying the sun in Hawaii with daughter Daisy yesterday.
  • Also on holiday at the moment, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles were
    spotted     on a private yacht sailing around Cap d’Antibes, France.
