• Richie Sambora has left rehab after completing a short residential programme. The Bon Jovi guitarist entered treatment for an undisclosed problem at the UCLA Medical Center last week. His spokesperson confirmed yesterday that he has now completed the programme: “He is doing well and continues to receive outside support.” Richie is now available to join Bon Jovi for their short summer tour.
  • Lost stars Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan have split up according to a report in a British magazine. A source close to the couple told Look magazine, “being together all the time [on the show] took its toll” and they had been arguing almost constantly since Dominic found out his character was to be killed off.
  • Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen celebrated their 21st birthday yesterday with a family meal at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. An onlooker told People magazine the girls were serenaded with ‘Happy Birthday’ by their dinner guests as two cakes - one with white frosting and one with black frosting - were brought out: “It looked like a family dinner. You could tell they were all really close. The girls couldn’t stop smiling.”
