Patrick DempseyGrey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has said between working on the medical show and new film Made of Honor, he doesn’t get to spend as much time with his family as he would like.

Patrick has a seven year old daughter Talula and four month old twin boys Darby & Sullivan with his wife Jill, and he told Entertainment Tonight recently that being away from the boys is especially difficult at the moment because they’re growing so fast: “They change. I leave in the morning and come back in the evening and they’ve grown.”

“They’re starting to talk and now there’s some reaction there. They use their faces and hold their heads up a bit.”

He added that based on his experience with his daughter, it probably won’t get any easier as they grow up though: “The first year [raising children] is really hard. The first 18 years are extremely difficult.”
