Cameron DiazCameron Diaz has decided she’s going to reduce the amount of films she makes over the next few years until she finds a good work/life balance.

Speaking during the promotion of new film Shrek the Third, she explained that she’s not planning to take a break from Hollywood, just slow down: “It’s not that I don’t want to work again. I’m itching to get back to it but I’m not going to make a movie just to make a movie.”

“Ten years ago, I did film after film after film. I remember someone I was working with asked what I was doing next and I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to do another movie. I’m on this train and it’s not stopping’.”

“And then I started seeing the unhappiness in people like that because there was no balance in their lives.”
