DNA tests have confirmed that Eddie Murphy IS the father of Melanie Brown’s baby, according to her spokesperson.

Eddie submitted to court-ordered testing earlier in the month and Melanie’s spokesperson Liza Anderson said after receiving the results late this week, Melanie has said “The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his. He’s the baby’s father, it’s official.”

While Melanie named the baby girl Angel Iris Murphy Brown, she did not name a father on the birth certificate but is expected to amend the document now the results are in.

A source close to Melanie told the Mirror: “Mel is immensely pleased that the whole saga is over and she is looking forward to moving on with her life with her new baby.”

“There is absolutely no communication between Mel and Eddie, so no one is sure how he is going to react to this news.”

Eddie previously pledged to “do the right thing” by Angel if she turned out to be his daughter. Angel is his seventh child and Melanie’s second.

Eddie’s spokesperson has refused to comment on the news.
