Arrgh, well that was frustrating.

We lost access to our server around 12.10pm (UK time) and quickly realised that not only were all our sites down, but everything run by our (huge) hosting company was down too - and there was nothing we could do about it. Apparently two of their big critical network things were affected by the insane flooding happening in the north of England at the moment.

We’ve just had to sit here, randomly reloading Fametastic to see if it appeared again for the last six hours and we’ve not had access to our email either so couldn’t find out or get the word out that we are down.

Everything seems to be back up again now and hopefully it’ll stay up. We were just thinking last week about how reliable our hosting company is - and I guess one serious outage in the three years we’ve used them isn’t bad - but still, sigh.
