In addition to his music plans, Jesse Metcalfe reportedly has an ulterior motive for his current stay in the UK: he’s hoping to clear his name with ex-girlfriend Nadine Coyle.

The Girls Aloud star broke up with Jesse in April, around the time he was photographed holding hands with another woman.

Jesse told the Sunday Mirror this week that he has been “empty and low” since their 18 month relationship ended: “I have to persuade her that I didn’t cheat on her.

“I was always faithful to her and never cheated. Those girls that I was photographed with meant nothing to me. I would never betray Nadine.”

Jesse has been circumstantially linked to Dita Von Teese and various models from the parties he’s hosted in London this week but insists he still loves the pop star: “I still love her and it is my dream that we get back together soon.”

However the Desperate Housewives actor might have to do more than claim his fidelity: Nadine is said to have dumped him over his jealousy and anger issues before the pictures of him with the mystery woman surfaced.
